Couture Fall 2010 = Accessory Trend Evolution
It has been a week of fall couture 2010 shows in Paris and I see some hot accessory trends brewing.
(Jean Paul Gaultier fall 2010)
Turban inspired headpiece
We have seen them on the runways since 2007 (Prada, Hermes) it is time for the chic piece to go mainstream. I am having visions of gals everywhere wearing a mini turban over the hair like a hat or headband.
(Jean Paul Gaultier fall 2010)
Button Earrings (on steroids)
This look has not surfaced mainstream since the 1980's. We have seen oversize statement earrings but not the dramatic "Dynasty" button. I'm ready for the big bold button.
(Valentino fall 2010)
Evening Kitten Heel Mule
This dainty and flirty shoe is making a comeback for evening I tell ya'. At Valentino the runway was lit up with these embellished beauties. I love the bow, what a great DIY shoe clip idea.

(Chanel fall 2010)
Vintage Inspired Cabochon Cuff
Chanel models were adorned with these eye-catching cabochon encrusted bracelets. This is the perfect eclectic mix of stones, antiqued metal and chains to be worn on duel wrists. I want to rock two now!
(Jean Paul Gaultier fall 2010)
Printed hosiery (continues)
Seasons past we have been wearing lace, paisley, polka dot, tattoo inspired, floral and animal printed hosiery. Now we can add French landscape to the chic mix of print options in hosiery.
I am so inspired for my trip to Paris only two short weeks away.
XOXO Mish

Loving the turban look...it's like a cross between the last turban look and the bunny-ears fad.

(Squealing w/delight!) I'm not sure which trend I like the most! Those tights are amazing! And while the shoes are gorgeous, I'm a little concerned about losing my height...

I've just been dying for those Chanel bracelets ever since I saw them. And I love the fact that they did wear them on both arms during the show...so Coco!
