Resort 2011 Collections

Anything new and note worthy in the realm of style floats my boat. This week resort 2011 collections are a blaze in New York.
Resort collections are created for the uber jet-setter and I'm inspired by these stylish looks:

The lady like white pant suit with turbanesque headpiece is ultra chic and sophisticated. But have to say the high waisted white pants are not for everyone. Black-and-white draws attention like a bull's eye. We know black conceals and white reveals and high waisted white pants won't do ya any favors at your widest point. Simple math ladies if your derriere is larger then you would like and you wish to conceal it wear black on the bottom. Use black to your advantage, accentuate your positive. Balance wide hips with a print on top like shown above. If you're petite (like myself), create the illusion of additional inches with vertical lines. That's how I plan to rock this look.

Polka-dot jump suit with emerald green platforms, simply delicious. The square neckline, wide straps and nipped in waist line are perfect for us BB gals.

A super smart printed textured jacket is a must have in every wardrobe don't ya think?Hhmmm curious all of these looks are black and white. We all know I have an addiction to black apparel. Always a stylish work in progress.
